Dry, but a cold day at little silver! but on the whole a good start to my 2011 race season.
Race 1- My NME tweeked D3 ktm was hauling 2 the first corner, which made the first few laps go smoothly. sitting comfortably im 3rd for a good half of the race befor the dreaded arm pump set in. Trying my best 2 keep the pace, i lost a few places but was happy with the end result 8th.
Race 2- Again after some bar banging in the first turn i came out in a top 10 position, the track at little silver is very tight and a few wrong decisions and 1 slip off in a tight right hand corner ment 14th at the flag was the best i could do.
Race 3- Top 10 off the start but lost 2 many positions on the first lap. I was feeling real strong in the closing 5 minutes of the race but had a fairly big crash in the wave section with 4 laps togo- a loss of traction when entering the waves caused me to high-side. i managed 2 claw back 1 more position befor the flag. 14th.
13th overall on the day and 5 points off the top 10 in the championship going into round 2.
Next i have the international at hawkstone park 20th, this should be good preperation for Maxxis round 2 the following weekend at canada heights.
